Program Manager, Restoration Corps
The Student Conservation Association (SCA), the nation’s leading conservation service organization for young people, is seeking a Program Manager for SCA’s Restoration Corps Program located in Yucca Valley, CA.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Program Manager will oversee program development and implementation, training, intern selection, assist with staff hiring, evaluation, reporting, risk assessment and management, budget management, and logistical coordination. This role will provide support and assistance to field staff on outreach projects, environmental education, equipment management, intern management, incident response, conflict resolution, and agency relations.
Qualifications:
BA/BS in Environmental Education/Science or related field, or equivalent field experience preferred
3 years of progressively responsible program/project management experience.
Strong communications and computer skills
GPS and GIS experience, previous backcountry leadership
Willingness to travel
Current WFR and CPR certification
Valid driver’s license and MVR that meets SCA's guidelines.
Must pass SCA criminal background check
