OHV Specialist position open with Oregon Department of Forestry

Natural Resource Specialist 1 - (Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Specialist)

$2,610 - $3,782 Monthly

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • There are two permanent, full-time positions with the Oregon Department of Forestry. One is located in Forest Grove and the other is located in Tillamook.
  • This recruitment will be used to establish a list of qualified candidates for the current vacancies and may be used to fill additional vacancies as they occur.

TO QUALIFY

Your PD100 application form will be reviewed to verify that you meet the qualifications stated in this section. To receive credit, your application must clearly show that you have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Recreation and Park Management or related natural resource field such as Forestry, Forest Engineering, Wildlife Management, Biology, Botany and Plant Pathology. If you are within 3 months of graduation, you will be considered to have met the minimum qualifications; OR
  • Three years of experience managing and maintaining trail systems (emphasis on OHV trails), implementing recreation management plans or trail management plans, or coordinating recreation-related public involvement and volunteer projects; AND
