Runners hit the Berryman Trail every spring for the marathon and 50-mile run sponsored by the St. Louis Ultrarunners Group. The 24-mile loop was built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps and is used by hikers, trail runners, mountain bikers and equestrians. It is Missouri's only International Mountain Biking Association Epic Trail.
