Before they came to Blue Ember Technologies, LLC and its parent company, Intellimar, Inc. (a premier national perimeter security company), many of our employees had hiked and biked on and camped and hunted nearby American Trails. From California’s Desolation Valley and Trinity Alps to North Carolina’s Appalachian Trail and the Potomac River Road in Maryland. And many others in between and beyond. Blue Ember’s design team has used several generations of accumulated “trail wisdom” to inform them of trail-specific bollard designs. We design our MaxiForce bollards for trail scenarios with trail masters, environmental conditions and users in mind.

And we attend to the codes, standards, and performance-based designs that dictate the best site-specific bollard for the job. The hallmark of the MaxiForce line is our patented collapsible bollards (see below), which feature two methods of operation and a breakaway feature that allows for emergency access (without the need for tools or keys) to trails, parks, play-grounds and other public venues.
